Artist's Description

Original for sale. It was inspired by my love of lobster rolls! This watercolor depicts the quaint lobster shack in Perkins Cove, Ogunquit, Maine. The painting features the traditional weathered cedar shingles and a window with a flower box, giving the image a charming and inviting feeling. I tried to capture the beauty of the local architecture and in this case the coastal environment is emphasized. This painting would be a perfect addition to the home of someone who loves seafood, Maine's coastal fun, and traditional architecture.
