Artist's Description

This watercolor painting depicts the window of an old rubber manufacturing business that has now been modernized with white shutters and geraniums, set against a light blue stucco wall, there is a healthy green vine entangled around and through the shutters that adds a lush, organic element to the scene. I tried to capture the beauty and complexity of the vine, with its twists and turns and delicate leaves. The watercolor medium enhances the soft and delicate nature of the scene and the vibrant red geraniums add a bold splash of color. Overall, I think this watercolor is a delightful representation of the interplay between man-made and natural elements, and would make a lovely addition to any art collection.
